Jackson’s response to the news that interior linebacker Queen will sign a three-year contract to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers instead of the Baltimore Ravens was amusing.

This might have been Jackson’s playful take on a feud between Barkley and Barber, two former running backs with the New York Giants. It all started on Monday, March 11, when Barkley departed Big Blue to join the Philadelphia Eagles, rivals in the NFC East.
Giants’ all-time top rusher Barber responded to the play by saying, “You’re dead to us, Saquon.” “I wish you luck, because I’m done with you,” the speaker said on WFAN Sports Radio.
Barkley objected, even if it seemed like Barber’s comments weren’t that serious. What transpired was a short and acrimonious exchange between the two on their individual legacies.
The Ravens don’t have to be concerned about any verbal altercations between Jackson and Queen. Based on his response on X, Queen took his now-former quarterback’s joke in the intended spirit.
It did not hurt that Jackson had already, in a similarly cheeky manner, shipped off another member of the Ravens defense to a divisional foe.
Lamar Jackson Appreciates Saying Farewell
Jackson is having fun bidding farewell, despite the fact that it means watching teammates sign with AFC North rivals. So far in free agency, that has become accustomed after Queen became the second defensive player to sign with the team.

Seeing their productive defenders play for rival teams will hurt the Ravens. especially after Queen discovered that the Steelers, a team that has a rich history of fielding outstanding linebackers, were a suitable fit for her.
