Done Deal: New Orleans Saints Confirm Contract Extension With Top Experienced Fans Favorite Star

Executive Vice President and General Manager of the New Orleans Saints Mickey Loomis announced today that the team has reached an agreement with fullback Adam Prentice for a one-year contract.

Prentice, 6-0, 245 pounds, was selected by the Denver Broncos as a free agency out of South Carolina after the 2021 NFL Draft.

He played for the Broncos during the preseason before being selected by the Saints off waivers before the beginning of the regular season. Prentice has participated in 31 games with six starts in three seasons. He has gained 26 yards by carrying nine times, 37 yards by catching eight receptions, and nine special teams tackles, including a career-high five in 2023. The native of Clovis, California completed with two carries for 12 yards, two catches for 12 yards, and five stops while playing on several special teams units in 13 games, one of which he started in 2023.

Following three seasons at Colorado State, Prentice played his graduate transfer career with the Gamecocks in 2020. During his 47 career games in college, he ran 18 times for 65 yards and caught 20 passes for 128 yards and one touchdown.
