Latest Bama News: Former Alabama Top Star signs with NFC West team

Jonah Williams, an OL from Alabama, signed with an NFC West team.
Jonah Williams, a former offensive lineman for Alabama, inked a $30 million, two-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals and is flying west. $19 million in guaranteed funding is part of the agreement.

Williams was chosen as the No. 11 overall choice in the 2019 NFL Draft and spent the first five years of his career with the Cincinnati Bengals. His career has been beset by setbacks as he was out for just 10 games in 2020 due to a damaged labrum, lost his rookie season due to a dislocated knee cap in 2022, and more.

He was able to participate in every game for Cincinnati in 2021, helping the team win the Super Bowl.

Following the team’s acquisition of Orlando Brown, an All-Pro offensive lineman, Williams was switched from left tackle to right tackle in the previous campaign.

Williams is now a second-year right tackle for Arizona, where the organization is trying to develop Paris Johnson, a first-round pick the previous year, since he has the versatility to play at either spot.
