Kim Mulkey of LSU has signed a 6-foot-5 transfer from an SEC rival school.
Kim Mulkey, the coach of LSU women’s basketball, announced on Monday that guard/forward Jersey Wolfenbarger, an Arkansas transfer, had chosen to join the LSU squad.
Wolfenbarger, who is described as 6-foot-5, posted a message to Instagram on Monday announcing her verbal commitment to LSU.
The former McDonald’s All-American missed the 2023–24 season after playing a major role for the Razorbacks in each of the preceding two seasons.
The native of Arkansas averaged 7.6 points and 4.3 rebounds in 30 games as a rookie, good enough to secure a berth on the SEC All-rookie team.
Wolfenbarger averaged 3.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game in her sophomore campaign.
When she signs with the Tigers, she will still be eligible for two years.
