Nearly all of the big universities have extended offers to Wilson, including Oregon, where he is now committed, Auburn, Miami, Florida, and Texas.
Wilson established his worth early and often for Tampa Bay Tech as a junior by recording 49 receptions for 872 yards and nine touchdowns in 13 games. He now turns his attention to the university ranks, where numerous elite teams compete for his services.
Wilson was visited by Jeff Banks, the tight ends coach and special teams coordinator, in Tampa, and it was stated by Charlie Williams of Inside Texas that the gifted receiver liked what Texas had done in terms of winning games and turning guys into professionals.
