LA Rams swap a draft pick for the Texans in exchange for WR Ben Skowronek.
In exchange for late-round draft picks, the Los Angeles Rams acquired receiver Ben Skowronek from the Houston Texans.
In the transaction made on Thursday, Houston acquired Skowronek along with a seventh-round pick in 2026 for a sixth-round pick in 2026.
During his three seasons with the Rams, Skowronek—a seventh-round draft selection from Notre Dame—earned his way into a major role on offense and special teams.
Notably, he played 46 offensive snaps in the Rams’ Super Bowl victory as a rookie, recording two receptions for 12 yards following Odell Beckham Jr.’s injury. During the Rams’ miserable 2022 campaign, he established himself as a mainstay in head coach Sean McVay’s offense, catching 39 receptions for 376 yards and even lining up frequently as a fullback while starting 11 games.
As a team captain for the Rams, Skowronek made the most of his contributions last season on special teams. In his three-year career, he has 58 receptions for 575 yards and one score.
