Breaking: Tennessee Volunteers Confirm The Double Departures As Stars Join NFL Team

The Tennessee Titans Sign Two Former Vols to UDFA Contracts
Jabari Small and Gabe Jeudy-Lally, two former Tennessee Volunteers, signed undrafted free-agent contracts with the Tennessee Titans.

Running back Jabari Small of the Tennessee Volunteers and cornerback Gabe Jeudy-Lally were not selected in the 2024 NFL Draft. Despite having successful careers on Rocky Top, the NFL did not consider them to be among the top seven-round picks. But throughout their undergraduate days, the local team saw enough potential in them to bring them.

Shortly after the draft, the Tennessee Titans signed undrafted free agents Small and Jeudy-Lally, who both reported to rookie minicamps. The Titans showed a particular interest in both players during the predraft process, but these agreements do not ensure that either will make the roster.

During his time at the University of Tennessee, Small amassed 2,365 all-purpose yards and 26 touchdowns. He played a major role in their running back rotation during his final two years with the Volunteers, averaging 5.1 yards per carry. In the meantime, Jeudy-Lally moved to Tennessee prior to the 2024 campaign in order to use his remaining eligibility. In addition to four for loss, a sack, and an interception, he recorded 41 tackles.
