5 schools, including LSU, are vying for a 5-star quarterback in 2026.
Five teams are vying for the services of the No. 2 quarterback in the 2026 recruiting class, who just announced that he was preparing to pledge in June or July. Among such teams is LSU.
Along with LSU, the other five colleges vying for the exceptional prospect are Miami, Penn State, Ohio State, and Texas. In the 2025 recruiting class, the top quarterback prospect has already committed to LSU. Currently, they are vying for a quarterback in the top two recruiting classes of 2026.
Five-star quarterback Dia Bell, who plays for American Heritage in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a 6-foot-3, 190-pound player. Bell does not currently have any crystal ball predictions, but according to On3, Ohio State is an 18% favorite to sign him.
Since Brian Kelly and his recruiting staff are now focusing entirely on 2025 recruits, LSU does not currently have any commitments for the 2026 class.
