**4-Star OL Prospect Mario Nash Jr. Schedules Official Visit to Florida State**
Mario Nash Jr., a four-star offensive lineman from the Class of 2025, has scheduled an official visit to Florida State. Offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Alex Atkins has identified several key offensive lineman targets for the Seminoles, with Nash being one of the prominent prospects.
Atkins has been active on both the recruiting trail and in the transfer portal, although there has been some criticism regarding his limited use of homegrown recruits within the offensive line rotation. The transfer portal has played a significant role in enhancing the Seminoles’ offensive line depth and quality.
Several veteran linemen, including Maurice Smith, Robert Scott Jr., Darius Washington, Jeremiah Byers, Keiondre Jones, Richie Leonard IV, and Jacob Rizy, are set to graduate after the 2024 season. This presents an opportunity for Florida State to replenish its offensive line with highly-regarded prospects in the 2025 recruiting class. His official visit to Florida State is scheduled for October 5th, coinciding with the Seminoles’ game against the Clemson Tigers at Doak Campbell Stadium. Despite the reduced capacity due to ongoing renovations for the 2025 season opener against Alabama, the game will provide a vibrant environment for Nash Jr. to experience, including the added intrigue of quarterback transfer DJ Uiagalelei facing his former team.
