The focus has primarily been on LSU Baseball’s NCAA Tournament run and the LSU Football team’s commencement of summer workouts; nevertheless, the LSU Basketball team is scheduled to return to campus for its summer workouts. In an effort to get back to being a competitive club in the SEC, the LSU basketball team signed a strong class of recruits, and they plan to try again in 2025.
Recently, the LSU basketball team entered the race for Oak Hill Academy standout Kaden Magwood. Kaden Magwood received a scholarship offer from the LSU basketball team on Friday, increasing the number of teams that have done so since May. As the 97th recruit in the class and the 24th shooting guard, the shooting guard is a four-star prospect.
Right now, there isn’t a definite favorite to win Magwood, which is encouraging for the LSU basketball team. Magwood is an extremely talented player who possesses a fantastic combination of quickness, playmaking skill, and shooting ability. Magwood is one of the nation’s most underappreciated athletes, and if LSU can get him, they will have access to a player who could easily push himself into the debate to become a five-star.

As of right now, the LSU basketball team has offered scholarships to 59 prospects but has not received any commitments.
