**Georgia Defensive Line Target Jayden-Jamal Hanne Schedules Official Visit After Camp Offer**
Jayden-Jamal Hanne, a California defensive line prospect, has scheduled an official visit to Georgia after earning an offer during a recent camp. Known as JJ to his friends, Hanne received a call from Georgia’s defensive line coach a couple of months ago, sparking interest in the Bulldogs.
Coach Scott, Georgia’s defensive line coach, reached out to Hanne after seeing his film and learning about his background. Scott expressed a strong interest in recruiting Hanne and invited him to Athens to work out. “Coach Scott called me a couple of months ago,” Hanne shared with Dawgs247. “He told me he liked my film and my story and wanted me to come to camp to earn an offer.”
Hanne attended Georgia’s first camp of the summer and made a significant impression. Having bulked up over the past few months, he showcased his skills and earned an offer from Scott. “He told me he liked how I grinded and gave effort everywhere,” Hanne said. “That’s what stood out to him, combined with my film.”
Hanne’s background is unique. Born in Berlin to a Nigerian father and German mother, he lived in Germany for most of his life and played football there, attending camps for international talent. In 2022, he moved to Santa Margarita to pursue his football career in the US, and his stock has since risen dramatically.
Standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 280 pounds, Hanne is projected to play at 3-technique or 4i-technique in Georgia’s defensive scheme. He is also attracting interest from other SEC programs like Alabama and Texas A&M. Currently ranked as the nation’s No. 121 defensive lineman, Hanne’s camp evaluation offer from Georgia underscores his potential.
Hanne’s official visit to Georgia is scheduled for June 21-23, as he continues to navigate his burgeoning football career in the US.
