### COMMIT ALERT: 2025 3-Star WR Radarious Jackson Chooses Tennessee Football
Tennessee, which had the 19th-ranked recruiting class for 2025, may see a boost as another prospect has committed to the Vols.
Radarious Jackson, a three-star wide receiver from Sheffield, Tennessee, announced his decision to join Tennessee after his senior season. This marks Josh Heupel’s second in-state receiver commitment for the class, joining Joakim Dodson from Chattanooga.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Jackson may be somewhat under the radar, but his talent is evident. His 7v7 teammate, George MacIntyre, likely played a role in his recruitment. Tennessee offered Jackson in October 2023 and has been persistent ever since.
Jackson is ranked as the No. 25 player in Tennessee and the No. 97 receiver overall. Despite being underrated, he comes off a season in which he won the 3A Mr. Tennessee Football Award.
Jackson chose Tennessee over Auburn, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State, making Tennessee one of four SEC finalists. This recruitment success is credited to Heupel, Joey Halzle, Kelsey Pope, and others involved. Tennessee’s offensive strategy, which creates match-up nightmares for defenses and opportunities for big plays, is appealing to wide receivers.
A visit to Neyland Stadium for the game against Texas A&M, with its electric atmosphere and a win for the Vols, also helped secure Jackson’s commitment.
Tennessee previously added two top receivers in last year’s cycle, including five-star Mike Matthews. With Jackson’s commitment, the Vols continue to target elite players in the 2025 class.
Jackson is the fourth in-state commitment for Tennessee in this class, joining MacIntyre, Dodson, and Ethan Utley.
