Brock Heath, captain of Blue Valley Northwest’s offensive line, has committed to Kansas State. The 6-foot-4, 265-pound interior lineman chose K-State over 13 other scholarship offers, including Northwestern, Kansas, and Iowa. Heath, a highly regarded three-star recruit, made his decision after visiting each school, with K-State sandwiched between trips to Kansas and Iowa.
Heath is considered one of the top 30 interior offensive linemen in the country and a top 10 player in Kansas. His relationship with K-State grew over the past year, starting with his attendance at a football game last fall and a basketball game in February.
K-State’s head coach and offensive line coach, Taylor Braet, made personal visits to Heath at Blue Valley Northwest, reinforcing their interest.
Heath, who values genuine relationships, found K-State’s culture appealing. His family ties to the school also played a role in his decision, recalling past recruiting trips to the campus with his brother, Jackson, who was recruited by Bill Snyder in 2018.
As a junior, Heath earned 1st Team All-State and All-League honors as an offensive lineman and received honorable mentions as a defensive lineman. Known for his dual personality, Heath is a top student off the field and a fierce competitor on it, traits that align well with K-State’s program. He becomes the second offensive line commit for K-State in the 2025 class, joining Will Kemna.
