**Five-Star Defensive Lineman Mariyon Dye Commits to Tennessee**
Tennessee football secures another significant recruit.
Mariyon Dye, a four-star edge rusher from Indiana, committed to the Volunteers on Friday afternoon, announcing his decision on X.
The 6-5, 270-pound prospect is ranked 150th nationally and 14th among edge rushers in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He is also the third-ranked player in Indiana.
Dye’s commitment follows his official visit to Tennessee last weekend. He also visited Ohio State, Purdue, Miami, and Michigan, and received offers from LSU, Penn State, Texas A&M, and Florida State.
With his size, Dye is expected to play as a strongside defensive end for the Volunteers. His commitment boosts Tennessee to No. 10 overall in rankings, bringing their total to 16 commitments for the 2025 class. Dye joins four-star Ethan Utley and three-star Charles House on Tennessee’s defensive line for 2025.
