**Patrick Jones II Faces Tough Competition**
Patrick Jones II, a 2021 third-round pick, hasn’t made a significant impact on the Vikings. With the team adding Andrew Van Ginkel and Jonathan Greenard in free agency and drafting Dallas Turner, Jones faces stiff competition. Competing with Andre Carter II, Bo Richter, and Gabriel Murphy for backup edge rusher roles, Jones’ lack of remaining contract years could also work against him. Despite logging 66 tackles and five sacks in his career, Jones’ future with the Vikings is uncertain.
