Official Titans News: Tennessee Titans Confirm Double Signing To Bolster Squad Prior To Training Camp

**Tennessee Football Secures Two Spots on First Team All-American List**

The Tennessee Volunteers football program has achieved a notable milestone, placing two players on the preseason All-American lists. This recognition highlights the presence of standout talent on both the offensive and defensive sides of the team.

Center Cooper Mays and edge rusher James Pearce Jr. have earned spots on the Walter Camp Football All-American first team. With Nico Iamaleava starting as the quarterback this season, having top-tier players like Mays and Pearce Jr. provides crucial support.

ESPN’s Matt Miller recently projected Pearce Jr. to be selected fourth overall in his latest NFL mock draft, potentially joining the Tennessee Titans. Miller praised Pearce’s exceptional quickness and versatility, noting his impressive stats from last season, including 9.5 sacks and a 52-yard pick-six.

Under head coach Josh Heupel, the Volunteers aim to build on last season’s achievements. Success for Mays and Pearce Jr. will be pivotal in positioning Tennessee as a strong contender for the playoffs.
