Good News: Just In Colorado Avalanche Confirm The Signing Of Another Top Experienced Superstar

**Breaking: Avalanche Sign Oliver Kylington**

As training camp approaches, the Colorado Avalanche have added another defenseman to their roster. In line with their tradition of making moves late in the off-season, the Avs have signed Oliver Kylington to a one-year contract worth $1.05 million annually.

Kylington, who previously played for the Calgary Flames, had a challenging season last year, recording just eight points in 33 games. He took the 2022-23 season off to focus on his mental health. However, he enjoyed a strong performance the year before, amassing 31 points in 73 games during the 2021-22 season.

Similar to the signing of Erik Brännström earlier this summer, this move brings significant offensive potential to the team with minimal financial risk. Yet, this addition makes the defensive lineup quite congested, particularly for the third pairing. The Avalanche now have Kylington, Brännström, Calvin de Haan, Jacob MacDonald, and Sam Malinski competing for spots, and none of them are waiver-exempt.

Expect a highly competitive training camp as these players vie for their roles unless unexpected trades or injuries alter the situation. We’ll find out how the roster finalizes before the regular season begins.
