It is well known that AC Milan are looking for a new center-forward and appear willing to make an investment next summer, with many names supposedly being considered.
Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reported this morning on prospective business between Milan and Bologna involving Alexis Saelemaekers, Riccardo Calafiori, and Joshua Zirkzee.
Milan have targeted Zirkzee for 2024 as they seek a new striker who can lead the line for years to come, but he is one of several other choices being examined at the moment.
In addition to the former Bayern Munich player, Jonathan David of Lille has been a long-term target, as has Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig.
According to the newspaper, the most recent relationship is Oli Watkins of Aston Villa and Santiago Gimenez of Feyenoord.
