Florida Gators News: Gators Announce Addition Of Another Top Talented Star To 2024-25 Roster

**Gators Add Daviane Mindoudi to 2024-25 Roster**

Head Coach Kelly Rae Finley has announced the addition of Daviane Mindoudi, a 6-1 guard, to the Florida Gators’ roster for the 2024-25 season. Mindoudi will join the Gators after spending time playing in Spain.

Most recently, Mindoudi played for Segle XXI in Barcelona, where she gained recognition for her play-making skills and effective use of her size near the basket. She excels at advancing the ball up the court off rebounds, creating more scoring chances for her teammates.

In her final season with Segle XXI, Mindoudi scored a season-high 21 points in a game, shooting 80% from the field and a perfect 100% from beyond the arc. She finished the 2023-24 season ranked among her team’s top-5 players in points, assists, steals, blocks, and rebounds, showcasing her all-around abilities.

Mindoudi’s addition will enhance Florida’s roster with another versatile, athletic wing. Coach Kelly Rae Finley expressed enthusiasm about the new recruit, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome Davi to Gator Nation! Her international experience and winning mindset will be invaluable in advancing our women’s basketball program. We look forward to having her join us this fall!”

Mindoudi is one of five new players joining the Gators for the 2024-25 season, alongside transfer Alexia Gassett (from Louisville) and freshmen Kylee Kitts (Hagerty High School), Me’Arah O’Neal (Episcopal High School), and Liv McGill (Hopkins High School).
