Done Deal: Florida Gators Officially Commits Another Top Talented 4-Star To Bolster Squad

**2025 All-American Ben Hanks Jr. Commits to Florida Gators**

The Florida Gators, led by Coach Billy Napier, have secured a commitment from one of the nation’s top defensive talents. Ben Hanks Jr., a 2025 All-American from Booker T. Washington High School in Florida, has pledged to play for the Gators. According to 247Sports, Hanks Jr. ranks as the No. 81 overall player nationally and is considered a four-star prospect.

Notable past Gators who have participated in the All-American Bowl include Percy Harvin, Chris Leak, and Tim Tebow.

 

Hanks Jr. is set to compete in the annual East vs. West game at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The game will be broadcast live on NBC and Peacock and will showcase the top 100 high school football players in the country.

As part of NBC Sports’ lineup of premier events, the All-American Bowl is renowned for being the most-watched and prestigious high school all-star game. It attracts more than four million unique viewers and over 20,000 fans each year. The Bowl’s rich history includes producing 594 NFL draft picks, 93 Super Bowl champions, 247 Pro Bowl selections, and 18 Heisman finalists.
