Breaking: Miami Dolphins Officially Cut Another Top Experienced Fans Favorite Player After Requesting Max Contract Extension

*Dolphins Cut OL Jack Driscoll to Add WR Grant DuBose**

The Miami Dolphins further reduced their offensive line depth on Wednesday by releasing Jack Driscoll.

General manager Chris Grier announced the decision during a press conference, explaining that the move was made to create roster space for wide receiver Grant DuBose, who the team claimed off waivers.

Driscoll, 27, signed a one-year contract with the Dolphins as a free agent earlier this year. Before joining Miami, he spent four seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, who drafted him in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

With Driscoll’s release, the Dolphins now have nine offensive linemen on their active roster, including rookies Patrick Paul, a second-round draft pick, and Andrew Meyer, an undrafted center.

On the depth chart, Driscoll was positioned as the second-string right guard, ahead of veteran Lester Cotton. During the preseason, Pro Football Focus credited Driscoll with allowing two pressures over 70 pass-blocking snaps.
