AC Milan is concerned about forward Emil Roback, who has been missing in Sweden for 14 days.
AC Milan is concerned about the well-being of one of their players, Emil Roback, after his loan club reported he had gone missing. Roback has not been seen or heard from either the Serie A giants or his temporary club, IFK Norrkoping, in over two weeks, with officials from both teams anxiously attempting to contact the teenage striker.
The 20-year-old joined the Swedish club on loan in March, but he has struggled to make an impact with the Allesvenskan team, appearing only three times during his seven-month stay.
And there are now concerns for his safety after he apparently went AWOL, missing training. According to Aftonbladet, Norrkoping has been left in the dark about Roback’s location after he missed the last two training sessions.
Tony Martinsson, the club’s sporting director, has expressed concern about his condition in Sweden and is eager to obtain guarantees that the player is safe, as he has not been heard from in over two weeks.
