**Two Key Moves the Indiana Fever Need to Make to Improve**

The Indiana Fever had a breakout season but need to make significant offseason moves to maintain their momentum. With two recent WNBA Rookie of the Year winners, Aliyah Boston (2023) and Caitlin Clark (2024), the Fever aim to build a winning culture around these young stars. However, the team struggled early in the season, lacking both rhythm and veteran leadership, which contributed to their first-round playoff exit against the Connecticut Sun.

To take the next step, the Fever must address two key areas: power forward stability and roster depth.

**1. Stabilize the Power Forward Position**
Nalyssa Smith began the season strong but became inconsistent as the year progressed. Despite averaging 10.6 points and 7.1 rebounds, her shooting percentages—29.2% from three-point range and 56.7% from the free-throw line—were subpar. Trade rumors surrounding Smith have also surfaced, due to her frustrations with limited playing time. Adding a versatile power forward could enhance floor spacing and defense.
