BREAKING: Just In Canucks Cut With Another Huge Blow Ss Top Talented Fans Favorite Player Suffer Career Ending Injury.

Defenseman Tyler Myers of the Vancouver Canucks returned to action quickly after appearing to have suffered a serious injury in an uncomfortable collision with Joel Farabee on Friday night against the Philadelphia Flyers. After the blow, Myers, 34, collapsed to the ice in a heap, looking as though he had broken his leg on October 11. The 6-foot-8 veteran defenseman had to be helped to the locker room by trainers and Canucks teammates J.T. Miller and Derek Forbort. As a result, he was declared out of the game against the Flyers very early in the second period. That was the only 36 seconds that Myers had played.

Myers, 34, was later discovered to be travelling with the team on their current road trip, but the Canucks never called up a defenseman from the AHL Abbotsford Canucks to replace him. Upon rejoining his teammates for practice a few days following the injury, Myers appeared to be moving around and skating laterally without any kind of limitations. Myers, as we discovered, was in fact in excellent condition. He even, rather surprise, returned to the Canucks lineup for Tuesday night’s game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Not everything went as planned in that game, as the Canucks, led by Myers and Arturs Silovs, gave up four goals in a humiliating 4-1 defeat. Even though Myers returned and played exactly 20 minutes on 28 shifts, Vancouver is presently 0-1-2 on the season. Myers was not at his best, though, as the Canucks attempted and failed to overcome a 4-1 lead, taking an interfering penalty late in the second period and a double-minor high-sticking penalty with only 35 seconds remaining. Myers returned to the lineup on Tuesday and ended fourth among Canucks skaters in total ice time, with a minus-2 plus-minus rating.
