Auburn tight end commit Hollis Davidson is eager about his future with the Tigers. Standing at 6’6″ and weighing 230 pounds, Davidson has steadily gained confidence and improved his skills during his senior season. Having only started playing football as a freshman, he has made significant strides in route running and footwork, becoming a more versatile player. After initially decommitting from Auburn in May to explore other options, Davidson ultimately reaffirmed his decision, feeling he made the right choice from the start.

This season, Davidson has recorded 29 receptions for 357 yards and three touchdowns. He is particularly excited about Auburn’s offense and the team’s recruiting progress, especially after the addition of highly-touted quarterback Deuce Knight. Davidson believes this will further strengthen Auburn’s future.

In terms of production, Auburn’s tight end unit has improved, with tight ends scoring three touchdowns so far this season. Davidson has been closely following the team’s recruitment and feels confident about his fellow commits and their potential impact.

Looking ahead, Davidson is excited to contribute to Auburn’s youthful roster and is eager to learn from current players. His positive outlook reflects optimism about the team’s future underclassmen and his role in that development.

Davidson’s commitment not only highlights his personal growth but also signals Auburn’s strategic progress in recruiting, especially with key additions like Knight. His confidence in the program’s direction demonstrates a promising future for both Davidson and Auburn football.
