Breaking: Packer Cut With Another Huge Blow As Top Talented And Fans Favorite RB Player Suffers Career Ending Injury.

Josh Jacobs, a running back for the Green Bay Packers, has been there before. He had an amazing season for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022, finishing first in the NFL in rushing with 1,653 yards and amassing 2,053 yards from scrimmage overall. Being a first-team All-Pro and Pro Bowler, he seemed to have solidified his position as the league’s best running back. But the upcoming season? Due to a quad injury, Jacobs was sidelined for the final four games of the 2023 season.

Yes, he has sustained injuries, and as an accomplished NFL running back, he is aware of the physical toll that the sport can have. Because of this, he might be the ideal mentor for MarShawn Lloyd, the rookie running back for Green Bay, who was just placed on injured reserve due to an ankle injury sustained during the team’s 16-10 victory against the Indianapolis Colts last weekend.

Lloyd has sustained three injuries thus far. He experienced a hamstring strain in the preseason after suffering a hip ailment in training camp. That would be enough to discourage any young athlete, but Lloyd recently disclosed that Jacobs has been a huge psychological support system for him. Lloyd will now have to miss a minimum of four games due to injury, but the Packers clearly want the rookie to take the time he needs to heal so that he can return for the second half of the season strong, especially with Jacobs looking like one of the best running backs in the NFL and Wilson, his second-year backup, looking capable.
