Breaking: More Bad News For Houston Texans As Another Top Experienced Fans Favorite Superstar Suffer Season-Ending Injury

Devin White, the former fifth overall pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2019 NFL Draft, is being considered for a potential trade, with three teams listed as possible landing spots. White, who was brought to the Philadelphia Eagles during the offseason to help strengthen their linebacker corps, has yet to make an impact. Despite Philadelphia’s solid defensive performance against the New Orleans Saints, White has not played and has been a healthy scratch in recent games.

Along with Bryce Huff, another offseason acquisition who has struggled, White was expected to bolster the Eagles’ defense. Huff, who had 10 sacks with the New York Jets last season, has not recorded a pressure or tackle this year. However, White’s situation appears more concerning, as he has not suited up at all for the Eagles, suggesting he might not have a future with the team.

ESPN’s Dan Graziano highlighted the Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, and Las Vegas Raiders as potential trade destinations for White. The Bills seem like the most logical option, given their current linebacker injuries to Matt Milano and Terrel Bernard. With Sean McDermott as head coach, Buffalo could potentially help White regain his form.

The Patriots, though in a rebuilding phase, could also be a landing spot. While their defense has some strong individual players, their focus may lean more toward acquiring offensive help, especially to support their future quarterback, possibly Drake Maye. However, White could still add value to their defense.

The Raiders are another possibility, with head coach Antonio Pierce, a former linebacker himself, potentially able to rejuvenate White’s career. However, the Raiders have more pressing needs than linebacker at the moment.

Ultimately, it appears that White’s time with the Eagles is coming to an end. Philadelphia has a reputation for quickly addressing mistakes, and it seems unlikely they will continue trying to make White fit into their Super Bowl-contending roster. Another team may take a chance on him, but White’s future in Philadelphia looks dim, and a trade could be on the horizon.
