GOOD NEWS: Just In 5-Star Decline Alabama,LSU And Commits To Florida State Football

The football team at Florida State has had a difficult few weeks. Fans of the Seminoles are beginning to doubt the quality of this football program in light of the losses to Boston College, Georgia Tech, and Memphis.

Not only the supporters, but even highly regarded prospects have expressed curiosity about Florida State’s potential response to their sluggish start. It makes sense because they probably believed that after the Seminoles’ perfect regular season and conference title the previous year, they would demonstrate their supremacy.

I am aware that a large number of the team’s contributors are heading to the NFL. Nonetheless, the program needs to figure out how to succeed so they can bring in more brilliant members in the future.
Mike Norvell, the head football coach at Florida State, has long stressed the value of developing the Seminoles’ culture and selecting players who complement Florida State’s strengths. After suffering his second 0–3 start in five years at Florida State, Norvell has been under pressure to produce.

Since former quarterback Jordan Travis’s season-ending injury against North Alabama in November 2023, the program has faced a great deal of hardship. In December, the College Football Playoff committee passed over Florida State in favor of Alabama, a team with just one loss.

With four-star defensive end Javion Hilson and four-star defensive tackle Myron Charles (who flipped to Texas) having de-committed from the program, recruiting has been a complete nightmare lately. Florida State has been waiting impatiently for positive news.

They learned that four-star running back Byron Louis, of American Heritage High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, had chosen Florida State over universities like Miami, Georgia, and Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon.
His old high school coach was Patrick Surtain Sr. of Florida State’s defensive backs, and he is friends with four-star cornerback Greg Thomas, a current Seminole commit.

In 2023, Louis led American Heritage High School in rushing yards with 1,200 and rushing touchdowns with 18. He made use of his official summer visitation to Florida State and had consistently expressed his admiration for the program. It is encouraging to see that Florida State is still developing talent at the position, since the Seminoles have struggled to run the football this season.
