Latest Warriors News: Extent Of Curry Injury Revealed He Will Be Out For…

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr expressed concern over an injury Stephen Curry sustained in their 112-104 loss to the LA Clippers. The 36-year-old initially left the game in the third quarter for treatment after twisting his ankle but returned in the fourth. However, Curry quickly aggravated the injury and needed help from teammate Gary Payton to get to the locker room.

Kerr mentioned Curry described the injury as “mild” or “moderate.” “He’s sprained that ankle numerous times before,” Kerr added. “He doesn’t think it’s too serious, but it’s a concern.” Curry, a two-time MVP with a history of ankle issues, had scored 18 points before exiting.

For the Clippers, Ivica Zubac and James Harden each contributed 23 points, with Zubac recording his second consecutive double-double, adding 17 rebounds and six assists. Kerr noted that Zubac was reliable for scoring when the Clippers needed it.

In other NBA games, the Boston Celtics overcame the Detroit Pistons 124-118, while the San Antonio Spurs narrowly defeated the Houston Rockets 109-106. The Miami Heat also celebrated a 114-106 victory over the Charlotte Hornets, highlighted by a tribute to franchise icon Dwyane Wade. At 42, Wade remains Miami’s all-time leading scorer and played a pivotal role in three championships during his two stints with the Heat.
