ESPN Sad News Report: Four Tennessee Titans Expereinced Superstars Miss Practice Today Due To…

The Tennessee Titans have released their initial injury report ahead of their Week 4 Monday Night Football game against the Miami Dolphins. Notably, four key players missed Thursday’s practice for the Titans:

– WR DeAndre Hopkins (rest) – Did Not Participate (DNP)
– CB Chidobe Awuzie (groin) – DNP
– DT Jeffery Simmons (elbow) – DNP
– CB L’Jarius Sneed (rest) – DNP

Safety Amani Hooker (face) was limited in practice. Resting Sneed is a familiar practice for the Titans, as he was given time off throughout the offseason. Hopkins is still recovering from a torn meniscus he sustained earlier this year. He is coming off his best performance of the season in Week 3, where he caught seven passes for 73 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Regarding Awuzie, who has already been ruled out for Week 4, Titans coach Brian Callahan indicated that the cornerback is likely to be sidelined for multiple weeks. “We’ll probably miss him for some weeks at this point,” Callahan stated. “It’s significant enough. What that timeline is, remains to be seen.”

On the Dolphins’ side, their initial injury report also lists five players who did not practice:

– OT Terron Armstead (concussion) – DNP
– CB Kendall Fuller (concussion) – DNP
– DT Calais Campbell (rest) – DNP
– LB David Long Jr. (hamstring) – DNP
– CB Siran Neal (hamstring) – DNP

Other notable mentions on Miami’s injury report include quarterback Skylar Thompson (ribs), running back Raheem Mostert (chest), and fullback Alec Ingold (shoulder/knee), all of whom were limited in their practice. Linebacker Jaelan Phillips was a full participant despite dealing with Achilles and shoulder issues.

The Titans, currently at 0-3, will face the Dolphins, who are 1-2, in what promises to be an exciting matchup at Hard Rock Stadium, kicking off at 7:30 p.m. ET.
