Sad News: More Bad News For Houston Texans As Another Top Superstar Suffers Career Ending-Injury

The Houston Texans’ wide receiver Stefon Diggs is out for the season due to a severe knee injury suffered during a recent game against the Indianapolis Colts on October 27, 2024. Initially, the injury didn’t appear overly serious, but further tests on October 29 revealed that Diggs had torn his ACL, requiring him to miss the remainder of the season. This setback means Diggs won’t rejoin his teammates until the 2025 season, assuming a successful recovery.

Diggs, acquired in a trade from the Buffalo Bills in April 2024, quickly made his mark on the Texans’ roster. Despite his limited time with the team, he managed to tally 47 receptions for 496 yards and three touchdowns over just eight games, proving himself a valuable asset. However, his absence compounds the Texans’ challenges, as star receiver Nico Collins has also been sidelined with a hamstring injury since Week 4. Collins, who has missed three games so far, is expected to miss a fourth as he completes a mandatory recovery period.

Even without Collins, the Texans have held their ground, securing wins against the Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, and Indianapolis Colts. The team hopes to keep this momentum going, especially with Collins potentially returning after their next game.

Following the injury, Diggs posted on Instagram, sharing heartfelt photos from the field and expressing his disappointment. He thanked fans for their support and acknowledged the hard work that went into his season, calling the injury “unfair.” His post resonated with fans, drawing thousands of comments from both Texans and Buffalo Bills supporters, who offered encouragement and wished him a speedy recovery.

Diggs’ injury is a blow for Houston, but his connection with the fans remains strong, and the Texans continue to push forward, hoping to keep their season on track.
