The 2024 season saw mixed results for Bethancourt; he posted a strong .814 OPS over 24 games with the Cubs, demonstrating his potential with a solid close to the season.
However, his performance with the Miami Marlins earlier in the year was less impressive, managing just a .466 OPS across 38 games before joining the Cubs.
