Green Bay, Wisconsin Christian Watson, a receiver for the Green Bay Packers, suffered a season-ending knee injury during Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears, coach Matt LaFleur announced on Monday. LaFleur did not elaborate on the specifics of Watson’s injury, but according to a source who spoke to ESPN, the receiver’s initial testing revealed an ACL tear. According to the source, no decision has been made regarding Watson’s surgery date or location, and additional testing was anticipated to ascertain whether Watson’s right knee had any additional damage. Watson was recovering from missing the game against Minnesota the week before due to an injured left knee. It’s unclear if that has anything to do with his right knee issue.
