“Manchester United is gearing up to face Newcastle in the upcoming Carabao Cup match, but Eddie Howe’s squad has encountered an unfortunate setback. The Carabao Cup fourth-round showdown between Manchester United and Newcastle is slated for next Wednesday evening.”

Alexander Isak ruled out

Star scorer Alexander Isak’s absence from the match has delivered Newcastle a serious injury blow.

The £63 million forward is expected to miss the next five games due to a groin injury and won’t be back until after the November international break, according to Craig Hope of the Daily Mail.

According to The Mail, Jacob Murphy, a winger, hurt his shoulder against Borussia Dortmund and will miss Manchester United’s match the following week.

Marcel Sabitzer, a midfielder on loan from Manchester United, was the game’s standout for Newcastle, although they lost 1-0.

Isak is anticipated to return when Manchester United plays Newcastle away from home in the Premier League in early December.

The Sweden international striker has seven goals this season for Newcastle in ten domestic league and cup games.

Tough matches for Manchester Unite

Manchester United has two difficult home games coming up: first against City in the Premier League and then against Newcastle in the Carabao Cup.

The players will need to step up their performances as the caliber of opponents rises because our home performance hasn’t been as flawless as it was last season.

Although Newcastle may be missing a few important players, Manchester United is also struggling with a serious injury crisis, especially at full-back.

Even while it might partially balance the playing field, Manchester United is not at all benefiting from the Isak injury.
