Breaking News: CARLOS CORBERÁN Confirm Double Injury Boost ahead of next game

When it comes to Jeremy Sarmiento and Semi Ajayi’s fitness, Carlos Corberán has given some very encouraging news. The Ecuadorian international hasn’t played since the end of September, and Ajayi, a Nigerian international, hasn’t played since two weeks ago. Both players cleared Thursday’s first-team group training session, the boss revealed, and he said the two will be included in the matchday squad on Saturday for Hull City’s visit.

“Jeremy Sarmiento and Semi Ajayi are two players who can be in the matchday squad on Saturday if they finish the training session on Friday,” Carlos stated.

“They both trained with the group on Thursday, and they performed admirably.”

“Adding players back to your roster is always a really good thing, especially if you have been missing a lot of them lately.

We have one additional center-back option in Semi, who was playing in the starting lineup at the beginning of the year.

The return of both players is good news because Jeremy can open up a lot of offensive options for us.
