Breaking News: Matthew Stafford Status For Week 9 Now Receives New Update

It has been doubtful throughout the week if Matthew Stafford, A.K.A., the quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams and a former member of the Detroit Lions, will play against the Green Bay Packers. There is new information available on his possible Sunday game status:

On Thursday, Matthew Stafford (right thumb) won’t practice.

What This Means For Matthew Stafford And The Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams are now 3-5 on the season after an ugly 20-43 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The Rams had a great start to the season, defeating the formidable Seattle Seahawks 30-12 on the road. However, in the following weeks, they have faltered, losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals, and Philadelphia Eagles prior to last Sunday’s horrific loss in Dallas.

Mathew Stafford’s health will be crucial if Los Angeles hopes to rekindle their season against the struggling, almost unplayable Green Bay Packers. Having Stafford over backup Brett Rypien will be vital if the Rams can ignite the passing game with two of the league’s most dynamic receivers: Cooper Kupp, the former OFfensive Player of the Year, and shocking rookie Puka Nacua.

As of right now, the Packers are either 3.5 or 3 points favorites, depending on where you check. But if Stafford practices on Friday and is approved, this line should drastically change in the Rams’ advantage. Otherwise, please play, Stafford; this should be a dull, pointless game.
