‘Huge Boost’ Rams recieves positive update amid Matthew Stafford absence

Despite having a knee injury, Puka Nacua, the outstanding rookie for the Rams, is anticipated to play in Week 9 in place of Matthew Stafford.

Although the Los Angeles Rams’ season has begun more strongly than expected, it already has a striking resemblance to their 2022 campaign. LA suffered injuries to several of its best players last season, including Cooper Kupp and Matthew Stafford. Now that Stafford and standout youngster Puka Nacua are sidelined, LA’s offense is beginning to wane once more.

They have already ruled out Matthew Stafford for their next game against the Green Bay Packers. That’s already a major setback for a club that is lacking in talent. Fortunately, Ian Rapoport reports that Nacua will be available for the Rams despite his present injury. That’s fantastic news for Los Angeles as they attempt to escape their current 3-5 hole.

It’s not just Stafford and Nacua who are injured among the offensive guys. RB Kyren Williams, another rising talent, is still listed as injured. Early in the season, LA’s performance by their defense and Nacua showed some potential. But Williams’ effective rushing has been missing lately, which has hindered the Rams attack.

Given that the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks are vying for first place in the NFC West, the Rams’ greatest chance may come in the Wild Card round. That is unlikely, though, given the caliber of their opponents and the skill on their roster.
