Breaking News: Los Angeles Rams officially comfirm the release of another star

With a 4-6 record, the Los Angeles Rams have a slim chance of making the NFC playoffs, and a win this Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals will put them one step closer.

The Cardinals are 2-9 and appear to have nothing to play for the remainder of the season, but the Rams have been unreliable since last season, so a win is far from inevitable. On Tuesday, the team confirmed the release of running back Darrell Henderson via its official Twitter account.

Henderson had been a big backfield threat for the Rams in recent years, and he was a crucial player of the 2021 team that won the Super Bowl.

In 12 regular-season games that year, he rushed for 688 yards and five touchdowns while passing for 173 yards and three more.

Henderson, on the other hand, hasn’t been the same since.

Los Angeles waived him late last season, during a dreadful season that few reigning Super Bowl champions have ever had to suffer.

Soon after, he was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars, but he didn’t play a single game for them, and the Rams welcomed him back as a practice squad player last month.

Kyren Williams, a second-year player, emerged as L.A.’s new primary running back early this season, racking up 456 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns in his first six games.

He’s been on the injured list for a month owing to an ankle injury.
