Wests Tigers’ rising talent, Kienan Power-Tempest, has made a significant move in his rugby league career by departing the club and opting to join a team in Queensland. The versatile utility back, who played in the Jersey Flegg competition for the Wests Tigers, has officially signed with the Souths Logan Magpies, a Queensland Cup side, for the upcoming season.
Having spent the past two seasons in the Wests Tigers’ development system, Power-Tempest has decided to take his skills and talents to Queensland for the next phase of his career. The 21-year-old, who previously represented the Australian Schoolboys, is known for his agility and speed, making him a valuable asset on the field.
During his time with the Wests Tigers, Power-Tempest showcased his abilities as a quick and agile player, featuring in various positions, including the centres and on the wing. Notably, he partnered alongside NRL player Josh Feledy, demonstrating his versatility and adaptability within the team.
Power-Tempest’s rugby league journey also includes representing the Camden Rams, where he made a notable impact by scoring multiple tries in their Grand Final clash against Thirlmere. Despite his individual success in the final, the team unfortunately fell short in securing the victory.
