Bills super star pulls off surprise proposal to girlfriend [photos]

Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox utilized his bye week in a special way. On December 3, Knox revealed that he proposed to his girlfriend, Alex Seefeldt, and she joyfully accepted.

From the photos shared, it appears that the 27-year-old orchestrated a truly remarkable surprise by secretly arranging for Seefeldt’s family and friends to witness the proposal. Knox, who inked a four-year, $52 million deal with the Bills last year, took to Instagram to share heartwarming snapshots of the unforgettable moment.

In his Instagram post, Knox wrote, “I guess this is what the kids call a ‘hard launch.’ I have found the one whom my soul loves. When you know, you know… and it was only a matter of months before I realized that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with this woman. She’s loved me at my worst, and helps sharpen me to be at my best.

“She’s a direct representation of God’s love, and I thank Him every single day for her. 11.30.23, best day of my life 🤍.”

Fans, athletes, and past teammates flocked to the comments section. “Congratulations,” commented Ed Oliver, while San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle added, “Congratulations, king.”

Seefeldt posted a video of Knox proposing and said, “1.30.23 The simplest YES of my life!!! God is AMAZING. I’m ready to do life with you FOREVER!!! I adore you.❤️”

During the bye week, Bills linebacker Baylon Spector, like Knox, was thinking about love. Ryleigh Campbell, Spector’s fiancée, announced on December 1 that he proposed with a stunning double diamond ring in Central Park. Campbell captioned photos of the auspicious event, “Two souls becoming one.”

On the same day, the 27-year-old Pro Bowler posted a photo of the pair to his Instagram Stories. Seefeldt previously shared photographs of Knox from Panama City Beach, as well as a video of the couple golfing together at Tennessee’s Troubadour Golf & Field Club.

Seefeldt sent Knox a message on her Instagram Stories before the Bills’ season opener against the New York Jets, putting a grid of photographs of the couple and adding, “Game 1… let’s GOOO” and a heartfelt, “I love you.”

Knox’s fiancee has been to numerous Bills games this season, including one in London for Buffalo’s “home” game versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. Even when Knox wasn’t participating, she continued to attend games.

Knox, who has been on injured reserve for many weeks due to a broken wrist, is anticipated to return to the lineup following the bye week. Knox has only 15 catches for 102 yards and one touchdown in seven games before going on injured reserve. Hopefully, the Bills’ former third-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft will be able to rebound in his comeback.

Alex Seefeldt Is a Buffalo Native, Taught Martial Arts For 9 Years

Alex Seefeldt pursued her high school education at Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart and continued her academic journey at the University of Buffalo’s School of Public Health and Health Professions. Her LinkedIn profile indicates that she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2021.

Before transitioning into a career as a personal trainer, Seefeldt spent over nine years working part-time as an instructor at Master Khechen’s Martial Arts Academy. In April, Knox accompanied Seefeldt to the academy, and an Instagram post from Master Khechen’s Martial Arts featured a photo of Knox alongside two students. The post read, “Look who came to visit today!! 👀 👀 @dawsonknox from the @buffalobills stopped in to learn a few kicks and tricks! It was so wonderful to have him in our building, our students and staff were so grateful to have him spend some time with us. GO BILLS! 🏈 🥋.”
