Another Buffalo Bills star named Man of the year nominee

The National Football League (NFL) unveiled the list of 32 nominees for the 2023 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award. Among them is Dion Dawkins, the offensive lineman for the Buffalo Bills, chosen as the team’s representative for the prestigious award. The accolade recognizes players who not only excel on the field but also demonstrate a commitment to creating a lasting positive impact beyond the realm of football.

 

Each NFL team nominates one player for the award, and these nominees are eligible to receive up to $55,000. The ultimate winner of the award will be granted a substantial $250,000 donation to the charity of their choosing. The NFL plans to acknowledge these nominees during the week leading up to Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, with the official award presentation taking place during NFL Honors on February 8.

Other notable nominees for the 2023 award include Jonathan Ledbetter (Arizona Cardinals), Bradley Pinion (Atlanta Falcons), Roquan Smith (Baltimore Ravens), Bradley Bozeman (Carolina Panthers), and many more. Each nominee represents a player committed to making a positive difference in their community, aligning with the core values of the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award. The diverse list spans players from various teams across the league, showcasing the widespread impact and philanthropic endeavors within the NFL community.
