The Tennessee Titans lost a physical battle with the Indianapolis Colts in Week 13, and more than that, several of their top players were injured. The Titans’ injury report on Thursday, prior of their game against the Miami Dolphins, reflects the previous game’s physicality.
The Titans had several players absent from Thursday’s practice session. Jeffery Simmons and punter Ryan Stonehouse, ruled out for the year, didn’t participate. Kristian Fulton, possibly facing an extended absence, Joe Jones, and Josh Whyle also missed practice. Six players, including Aaron Brewer, Luke Gifford, T.K. McClendon, Derrick Henry, DeAndre Hopkins, and Denico Autry, were limited, with the latter three listed for rest. Terrell Edmunds, Trevon Wesco, and Will Levis, battling through an ankle injury, practiced fully.
With Monday’s game, the Titans have an extra day for preparation and recovery, offering optimism for player availability. Miami also faces injury concerns, with eight players, including Tyreek Hill and Terron Armstead, absent from Thursday’s practice. The extended recovery time might yield optimism for the Dolphins’ lineup as well.
